Midfielder Prosper Ahiabu has left Ghana Premier League side WAFA after the expiration of his contract, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The Ghana youth international refused to extend his stay with the Sogakope-based outfit after two seasons and now available on a free transfer.

He was a firm staple for the Academy since where he emerged as a tough box-to-box midfielder.

Ahiabu's consistent displays in the Ghana top-flight and that earned him a spot in the National U20 side.

His important goal-an equalizer-against Benin helped the Black Satellites to qualify for the 2019 CAF U20 Championship which was hosted by Niger.

However, he failed to make the final cut for the 2019 CAF U23 Cup of Nations finals in Egypt which served as a qualifier to the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
