EXCLUSIVE: Ghanaian forward Kwaku Karikari joins Danish club AC Horsens

Young Ghanaian attacker Kwaku Karikari has completed a transfer move to Danish club AC Horsens ahead of the new season, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively confirm

The 22-year-old joins Horsens from Serbian Super Liga outfit FK Jedinstvo Ub for an undisclosed amount after two seasons.

Karikari was instrumental for Jedinstvo last season, having helped them to secure promotion to the Serbian top-flight, where he scored 16 goals and provided 9 assists.

He was voted the club's best player of the 2023-24 campaign following his fabulous performances to propel them in historic promotion to the Serbian Super Liga.

The former Liberty Professionals and Dreams FC player scored 29 goals and delivered 16 assists in 68 games across the two seasons he spent in Serbia.

Karikari will join his new teammates immediately as they prepare for the 2024-25 season opener this weekend against FC Fredericia.

Horsens are expected to officially announce the signing of the prolific attacker in the coming hours.
