EXCLUSIVE: Ghanaian forward Kwame Peprah set to leave Orlando Pirates for Greece

Published on: 04 June 2022

Ghanaian forward Kwame Peprah is set to leave South African giants Orlando Pirates in the summer transfer window, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The former King Faisal star has popped up on the radar of clubs in Greece, and GHANASoccernet can reveal that the forward and his team are set to open talks with the unnamed club.

Kwame Peprah is coming off an outstanding first season in the Premier Soccer League, where he ended the campaign as the Bucs top scorer in the league, and was also instrumental in the club reaching the CAF Confederation Cup final.

The striker, who had a slow start to his career in South Africa, netted nine goals to attract interest from the Greek club.

GHANASoccernet.com can also reveal that Peprah's interest to join a club in Europe is because of his dream of playing for the Black Stars at the World Cup.

Despite outscoring most of the Ghanaian striker's in Otto Addo's team for the AFCON qualifiers, the attacked has been overlooked by the coach.

Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates have started planning life after Peprah with the imminent signings of Evidence Makgopa and Eva Nga. The duo are yet to be announced as the club's new signings.

Peprah joined Orlando Pirates from King Faisal in August 2021.
