The 20-year-old has started training with the side with an aim of earning at least a loan deal to the club.
The Superettan side are looking for a replacement for Juanjo Ciercoles who is billed to leave the club by July 15.
GIF Sundsvall sporting director Urban Hagblom has confirmed the arrival of the Ghanaian trialist.
"He is an option we see as a possible replacement in that role. So he's up to date. Then there may be more players, but now Hudu is here and then we'll see," Hagblom told ST.Hagblom
The Ghanaian is already making positive vibes since he joined the audition.
"That's a good first impression. The quality here is very good for me and it is a good environment for a young player to develop." he Halik Hudu said.
The youngster was a prominent player in the Superettan as an 18-year-old for Hammarby's partner club Frej last season season where he scored three goals in 28 appearances.
