Turkish Süper Lig outfit Giresunspor are ready to battle it out with second-tier Samsunspor for Ghanaian striker Elvis Manu, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The 28-year-old is a free agent after leaving Bulgarian champions Ludogorets Razgrad last month.

The Dutchman with Ghanaian roots is wanted by Turkish elite division side Giresunspor while second-tier Samsunspor are believed to be monitoring the situation.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands that promotion chasers Samsunspor are the most serous contender for his signature.

Samsunspor see the Dutch-born Ghanaian forward as a perfect fit as they push for promotion this season.

It will be an unfamiliar territory for former Brighton  forward, having featured for Genclerbirligi  and Akhisarspor.

Giresunspor are offering less money as compared to the second-tier side in the pursuit of the Ghanaian footballer.

The 28-year-old left Ludogorets Razgrad on mutual consent.

The Bulgarian champions will receive specific amount from the Ghanaian forward when he secures a move to a different club.

Manu, who joined the club in August 2020 scored 16 goals in 57 matches before his exit.
