Hellas Verona are set to appoint former Sassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco as their new manager with the Italian gaffer interested in working with Duncan.
Duncan and Di Francesco worked together at Sassuolo were both formed a good relationship on and off the pitch.
The former Inter Milan academy graduate made 19 appearances for Cagliari as they escaped the drop in the 2020/21 season.
