Ghanaian defender Isaac Donkor is set to face a spell on the sidelines after suffering an injury in Sturm Graz training camp, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

Donkor was forced to leave the club’s training camp in Belem, Turkey, after he picking up an ankle injury in training.

The 24-year-old was confirmed to have thorn a ligament in his right ankle after undergoing a MRI test.

But the club want to conduct further test on the injury hence the former Inter Milan youth captain will be flown to Austria today.

Donkor will continue to work closely with physiotherapist Joe Flicker.

He joined the club on a two-year deal from Romanian side Universitatea Craiova last summer.

He made 8 appearances in all competitions for the club during the first half of the season.
