Published on: 31 March 2020

Asante Kotoko have opened contract talks with Medeama regarding the permanent stay of their midfielder Justice Blay, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The Porcupine Warriors officially wrote  to the Tarkwa-based side on Monday March 30, 2020 seeking to make the loan deal permanent.

Blay joined the record Ghana Premier League holders on a season-long loan at the start of the 2019/2020 season.

With the midfielder's current deal set to expire in June, Kotoko have moved to tie him on a permanent contract.

Medeama, who hold the economic right of the player, will decide the next course of action.

With multiple offers on the table for the highly-rated midfielder, it remains to be seen if the Mauve and Yellows will sell their prize asset to Kotoko.

Kotoko will need to break bank to sign the midfielder after his value skyrocketed following an impressive run of form since joining.
