Kwadwo Asamoah gave his injury recovery a massive boost by playing in Juventus’ friendly against lower division side Castellazzo on Wednesday.
The Ghana international, who has been sidelined since November last year, played 60 minutes for the Old Lady.
Asamoah delayed return to the pitch has forced Juventus to exclude him from their UEFA Champions League squad.
The 25-year-old suffered a career threatening injury and underwent surgery in November last year to correct a cartilage in his left knee.
He returned to full scale training last week but could not make the trip to Genoa.
