EXCLUSIVE: Shanghai SIPG and Al Ain chase Ghana and Al-Fayha star Samuel Owusu
Samuel Owusu is a hot commodity after just a season at Al-Fahya

Chinese giants Shanghai SIPG and United Arab Emirates side Al Ain are in hot pursuit of Al-Fayha sensation Samuel Owusu, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The 24-year-old has popped up on the radar of the two clubs following his explosive form in the Saudi Arabia Professional League.

The Ghana international has been on cloud nine since he joined the gulf side from Serbian side ÄŒukarički.

He has become a hot commodity after just a season in the Saudi Professional league where he is closing in on hitting double figures in his debut season.

Chinese side Shanghai SIPG have monitored the wideman in the course of the season while UAE giants Al Ain have also been keeping tabs.

Al Ain are reported to have contacted cult hero Asamoah Gyan in helping to lure the sensational winger to the club.

Gyan is a cult hero at the club after he enjoyed a successful four-year spell where he scored 128 goals in 123 matches for the Garden Club and they feel his influence could prove decisive in securing the services of the youngster.

It appears Al-Fayha will struggle to hold down their star man as offers continue to pour in from several stellar clubs in the gulf and China.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands that Qatari giants Al Duhail SC and Al-Sadd are also interested in the services of the talented superstar.

Owusu is a man that is small in stature but massive when it came to ability and heart.

With great acceleration and a thrilling directness about his play, he's got an extremely bright future.

It's been a remarkable turnaround for the hugely-talented wideman since he broke into stardom after his explosive breakthrough with the Black Stars

Owusu started his professional career in 2014 after signing for Serbian side Radnik Sordolica.

He moved to Turkish side Genclerberligi before returning to the Serbian league to sign for  ÄŒukarički in 2017 where he scored seven goals and provided 10 assists last season.

He has been capped 8 times by Ghana.
