Ghana's leading football website, GHANAsoccernet.com revealed last month that the Right to Dream Academy product was undergoing a trial at the club.

The youngster has now put pen-to-paper on a long-term contract and will join compatriot Patrick Kpozo who joined the side last week.

"Sam playing here in Östersund feels great and it will be a safety for me. He has been visiting the academy so I've had a close look at him. It's also fun that Patrick Kpozo from Ghana has come to the club, "he told osdsport.se.

"It has become a lot of goals and lately, I've mostly been a number 10. I'd like to fold in from the right and put it with my left foot which is my best foot," he says.

" Sure, it's a long time, but that's something I like. Then there's plenty of time to agree to write new story in this club, "said Frank Arhin.

Östersund FK have become a good hunting ground for several Ghanaian players including David Accam, Thomas Boakye and Sam Mensah, who still on the club's roaster.
