TP Mzembe have commenced talks with Liberty Professionals for the signing of exciting forward Latif Blessing, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The Congolese club officially registered their interest in the enterprising teenager when they traveled to Ghana almost a fortnight ago for the Mo Ibrahim Cup.

TP Mazembe look to raid the Ghanaian landscape once more again to recruit players to strengthen their side.

The African champions currently have five Ghanaians in their ranks with the likes of Solomon Asante, Daniel Nii Adjei, Yaw Frimpong and Richard Kissi Boateng all integral players for the Ravens.

Club owner Moise Katumbi has personally spoken to officials of Liberty Professionals looking to quickly close a deal to have Latif Blessing travel to Congo for his medical before completing a move.

Figures involved in the deal for now remain concealed but processes have been initiated to complete the move by next week.

Blessing emerged on of the revelations in last season’s Ghana Premier League wand was nominated as one of the Best Young Players in the division.
