Newly-promoted Turkish side Erzurumspor have tabled almost $400,000 for in-demand SK Brann winger Gilbert Koomson, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The 25-year-old is a hot commodity after excelling heavily for the Norwegian side last season.

Koomson has been Brann's most important player this year, scoring eight goals in 16 matches from his right wing position.

The Norwegian side have received an offer from newly-promoted Turkish side Erzurumspor for the services of the player with a fee hovering around $400,000.

"It's hard to talk about. I do not know how you heard it. But there have been some bids, Koomson tells VG, while  hanging out with his  girlfriend Kamilla Isabell and their newborn daughter Emilia.

Branns sporting manager, Rune Soltvedt, appears to have confirmed the situation regarding the versatile Ghanaian.

"The situation is that he has a contract until next year. There have been inquiries about him, but we want to have him here. That's probably what I can say about it.

"There is interest around him. I do not want to say much more. We want to keep him until it eventually becomes such that we can not say "no, thank you" to it, Soltvedt says.

Brann has consistently rejected bids for the Ghanaian over insufficient cash demands.
