GHANASoccernet.com can confirm WAFA defender Gideon Mensah has joined French Ligue I side Lille on trial.
The left-back arrived at the club last Sunday and has begun training with Les Dogues.
Mensah’s visit to France is expected to pave way for his transfer during the January transfer window.
It will also give him the needed exposure before finally moving abroad.
Lille OSC are coached by former Black Stars assistant coach Herve Renard who knows much about Ghanaian talents.
