Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Ogum has assured the fans of an improved performance when they face FC Samartex this weekend.
His remarks come after an emergency meeting held in Manhyia after the life patron of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II requested to meet the playing body and the technical to resolve issues affecting the club.
Kotoko's poor performance in the second half of the campaign influenced the decision of Otumfuo after recording just a win in their seven games played.
“I think they should expect a new performance, new energy level, in fact, everything new on Sunday in terms of performance. We will make the fans happy at the end of the day," Ogum told Opemsuo Radio.
After failing to hold training for two days due to the agitation of the fans, Prosper Narteh Ogum led the team to train at Adako Jachie after the meeting.
Kotoko, who sit 11th on the Premier League log with 33 points will host the Premier League leaders in the Matchday 27 games at the Baba Yara Stadium with kick-off scheduled at 15:00GMT.
Meanwhile, the playing body will meet Otumfuo on Sunday after the game.
