The interim head coach of Asante Kotoko, Abdul Karim Zito, has indicated that he is anticipating a tough clash against Berekum Chelsea in the semi-finals of this season’s MTN FA Cup.
The last four teams in this season’s MTN FA Cup will be in action this weekend to battle for a place in the final.
The first semi-final game will be a showdown between lower division sides Golden Kick and Attram de Visser Sporting Club on Saturday, May 10.
Then on Sunday, May 11, Asante Kotoko will take on Berekum Chelsea in the second semi-final game.
Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of the game, Kotoko coach Abdul Karim Zito acknowledged the quality of Berekum Chelsea coach Samuel Boadu, admitting that the match will be tough.
“It’s never easy. It’s very difficult. I know what he can do as a coach. It’s been long since we won one of this cup, so we are all eager to win, and I know it won’t be easy for us. It will be very difficult,” Coach Zito told AKSC Media.
Both semi-final matches in the MTN FA Cup this weekend will be played at TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.
