FA Cup Report: WA All Stars 2-0 Berekum Chelsea - Northern Blues progress to semi-final with comfortable victory
WA All Stars booked their place in the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup following a convincing 2-0 victory against Berekum Chelsea at the WA, Malik Jabir Park on Sunday.
The Northern Blues grabbed the two goals in the first half courtesy Nasiru Moro and Seth Amoateng to secure victory.
Mohammed opened the scoring with a world class strike on 16 minutes after the home side had dominated proceedings before Amoateng added the second right before the break.
The victory means All Stars are on course to claim another silverware after winning their first – Ghana Premier League – last season.
