FA Cup round-up: Swansea hammer Nottingham Forest, while Millwall lose to Bristol City

Swansea emphatically propelled themselves into the fifth round of the FA Cup after thumping a listless Nottingham Forest 5-1, with braces for both Liam Cullen and Matt Grimes.

The Swans were on the attack from the first whistle and scored in the seventh minute thanks to a left-volley from 21-year-old Cullen, who was making only his ninth appearance for the Swans and had not yet scored.

Forest were left reeling when just before the half-hour mark Matt Grimes unleashed a rocket from just outside the box into the top right corner, doubling Swansea's lead.

The visitors pulled one back after half-time, Anthony Knockaert slotting home, but Grimes then converted a penalty won by Ryan Manning.

Cullen got his second goal and Swansea's fourth after Manning crossed into the box and the forward struck home into the middle of the goal.

Oliver Cooper capped off a traumatic afternoon for Forest by scoring Swansea's fifth in the 84-minute, hitting in a tidy shot from the left-hand side of the box.

Bristol City saw off a tame Millwall 3-0 to advance to the next round, with Famara Diedhiou putting the visitors ahead through a 32nd-minute penalty after being brought down in the box.

City pressed on the accelerator in the second half to leave Millwall in the dust, with forward Nakhi Wells doubling their lead with a free-kick that beat goal-keeper Frank Fielding.

Wells then turned provider for Antoine Semenyo in the 72nd minute, who latched onto a pass and slotted into the bottom-right corner to put the result in no doubt.

Barnsley celebrated a rare win over rivals Norwich City after edging a 1-0 win a closely-fought encounter. Before this game the Colliers had only beaten the Canaries once in their previous 16 meetings in all competitions.

A tight game saw 20-year-old Callum Styles score the only goal in the 56th minute, the forward sweeping home from the middle of the penalty box.
