Black Stars first-choice goalkeeper Fatau Dauda will play under a new coach at his club - Chippa United after head coach Kostadin Papic resigned from his role on Wednesday.

The Serbian tactician, a former Hearts of Oak head coach, has revealed his decision to vacate his role at the club is based on failure to come to terms with the club's management over appointment of a technical director.

"Yes I have resigned," Papic told Goal. "It's not true that I was unhappy at Chippa, but the reason for me to resign is that I didn't want the new technical director to interfere with my job," he added.

Papic secured the signature of Dauda for Chippa on the last day of July but has left the club leaving the Ghanaian glovesman with the obvious option of playing under a new manager.

Chippa have failed to win a game under Dauda and Papic since the start of the South African season.
