Borussia Dortmund recovered from an early 1-0 deficit to beat struggling Augsburg 3-1 and close the gap on Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich to five points.

A 14th-minute tap-in from Alfred Finnbogason saw the home side take an unexpected lead, however Henrikh Mkhitaryan struck to level the game at 1-1 just before the break.

Gonzalo Castro's then managed to convert, via a deflection, with just over 20 minutes remaining to give Dortmund a 2-1 lead, before Ramos wrapped up affairs with a 75th minute strike.

The win see's Dortmund secure their sixth league triumph in their last seven matches. While Augsburg have won just one of their last 10 games, as they seek to avoid relegation from the Bundesliga.
