FC Utrecht have extended the contract of Ghanaian forward Patrick Joosten.
The 23-year-old has returned to the Dutch after his loan spell at Sparta Rotterdam was cut short due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Utrecht have handed a new deal to the former Dutch Under-21 international.
However, the club is considering sending him on another loan expedition.
The forward initially spent a loan stint at VVV Venlo last season, scoring 6 goals in 30 games for the side.
Joosten, who has a Ghanaian father and Dutch mother, has represented the Dutch at the Under 21 level but he is still eligible to play for Ghana.
