Fifa hails Ghana's organization of four-day seminar

Fifa has passed raving remarks over Ghana's competence in hosting a four-day seminar for General Secretaries and Technical Directors of national football associations in Africa.

The sessions which took place at the plush Alisa Hotel in Accra was attended by over twenty four participants from all over Africa.

And according to Fifa, Ghana's key role in African football has been re-emphasized with the successful hosting of the seminar.

“We have been very impressed with Ghana’s organization of this seminar,” Fifa manager of Development and Programmes in Africa Frencesco Bruscoli said during the closing ceremony on Thursday.

“The buses and accommodation given to us was very good and we could only congratulate the Ghana government and the federation for making this seminar a success.

"Ghana has demonstrated its competence in its organization in all sectors and it is not surprising that their teams do very well on the field of play”

Participants were taking through development programmes of Fifa, licensing of coaches, role of the technical direcor and general secretary and the new transfer matching system for players.
