Playing for Fiorentina since 2017/18, Italian midfielder Marco Benassi (25), mostly a long-running regular throughout previous two seasons, seems to have lost such privileges since the start of current one. Though Viola change of management, with Giuseppe Iachini replacing Vincenzo Montella, might bring former Torino player back to an into-grace status, the latter has been targeted by Brescia, willing to sign him on a loan spell. Currently on a deal with Gigliati until June 2022, Benassi is tracked by Hellas Verona as well.
