Fiorentina coach Vicenzo Italiano has been praised by Italian media for getting the best of his players especially Alfred Duncan.
Duncan becoming an important figure in the team has surprised many but the Italian tactician is believed to be the mastermind.
Fiorentina planned their season without Duncan because they had made up their mind to sell him. They couldn't find a buyer and coach Italiano had to accommodate him.
He was included in matchday squad for the first time in the second week and made his debut against Torino.
Duncan excelled and since then, Italiano has not failed to use him. Duncan has started two of the last four games including Wednesday's loss to reigning champions Inter Milan.
Duncan's current form has been attributed to Italiano's trust in the midfielder and other players. So far, Italiano has worked magic as Fiorentina sit just four points behind leaders Milan.
