FIORENTINA owner Commisso: "I stand firm on keeping MILENKOVIC in"

Published on: 18 September 2020

Addressed with transfer rumours related to Serbian international defensive all-rounder Nikola Milenkovic (turning 23 on October 12), Fiorentina owner, Rocco Commisso, pointed out to La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I actually talked to Nikola about the outlook on a move out of his. But it turns out I want to keep him in, no matter what, and I stand firm on that. He's a very good guy, as well as a skilled backliner.

Shots left to sign new player? We'll go for them, if we have the chance to. And let's not forget about winter window. My consultants made clear to me that would be a very busy time".

Playing for Viola since 2017/18, Milenkovic, currently on a deal with Italian club until June 2022, is allegedly tracked by a bunch of clubs around, AC Milan and Napoli in particular.
