Fiorentina have signed 17-year-old Ghanaian defender Nii Nortey Ashong from Triestina on loan with the option to buy.
Ashong's will play for La Viola Primavera (youth side) and will join Ghanaian yougsters Daniel Kofi Agyei, Maxwell Boadi Acosty and Salifu Amidu.
The centre-back was born in Accra and moved to Italy.
Ashong moved together with Italy Under-20 international right wing-back Davide Bariti.
