Fiorentina striker linked with Genoa, Bologna and Real Betis

Fiorentina forward Giuseppe Rossi could leave the side in the January transfer window with fellow Serie A clubs Genoa and Bologna both interested in his services.

After recovering from his most recent injury, the 28-year-old could seek a new squad in order to play as much as possible to try and fulfil his desire to play for Italy at Euro 2016 in France next summer.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Genoa and Bologna could both make moves for Rossi in the oncoming transfer market to help strengthen their squads and their chances of staying up in the Italian top-flight.

Should he decided to move out of Italy, a return to the Spanish La Liga could also be on the cards after his six years at Villarreal between 2007 and 2013.

Both Real Sociedad and Real Betis are reportedly keen on getting his signature.

Whether he transfers to Spain or stays in Italy, the former Manchester United man is expected to sign on a loan deal rather than on a permanent basis.
