Bristol City star Antoine Semenyo is making a return to the Black Stars after he was named in the team for the friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua later this month.

Semenyo picked up an injury after making his debut for Ghana against Madagascar in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in June.

He missed the game against Central African Republic and the Krin Cup tournament due to the knock. He was also unavailable for Nigel Pearson's Bristol City at the start of the season.

But he made his injury comeback a fortnight ago, scoring in three successive games.

The Black Stars will face five-time World champions Brazil on September 23, 2022 at the Stade Oceane in Le Havre, France in the first test game.

Ghana face Nicaragua four days later in the second friendly in Lorca in Spain on September 27, 2022.

Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu has named by Addo for the first time for the two matches and could be making his debut in the White shirt.

Brighton and former England U21 player Tariq Lamptey has chance to make his Ghana debut since switching allegiance and has been included in Addo's 29-man list.

Former Spain youth player Inaki Williams who has recently switched his international allegiance to represent the West African country has also been listed.

Germany-born duo Stephan Kofi Ambrosius and Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer are also listed in the Black Stars squad to face Brazil and Nicaragua.

Arsenal star Thomas Partey is making a return to the team having missed the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Central African Republic in June through injury.

Hearts of Oak attacker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh who has been in blistering form for the Black Galaxies in CHAN qualifications is the only home based player named.
