Ghana midfielder Isaac Coffie remains confident of staying injury-free for the rest of the campaign after a strong comeback performance for Sivasspor over the weekend.

Coffie was returning from a three-week spell on the sidelines but impressed as Sivasspor defeated Fati Karagrumruk on Saturday.

He lasted the entire duration for the Red and Whites.

"I am very positive about finishing the season injury-free," said the defensive midfielder. "I have always been mentally strong when it comes to setbacks like this. I am happy to be back and play a role in today's victory," he added.

The former Genoa player has made 24 appearances in all competitions for Sivasspor this season.

The 29-year-old has been key to manager Riza Calimbay's squad and earned praises for his superb display on Saturday.

Sivasspor lost three games on a row without the midfielder, but Coffie insists the top six remain the club's priority.

Last season the Ghanaian helped Sivasspor qualify for Europe, a feat he wants to achieve again.
