Emmanuel Baffour’s arrival to the Black Stars training will be further delayed due to changes in his travel arrangement.

The Ghana Premier League’s leading scorer was expected back in Ghana on Tuesday night following successful medicals with Turkish side Antalyspor.

The 23-year-old was however unable to travel from Turkey as scheduled and is now expected to return on Wednesday night.

Baffour will thus be unable to join Wednesday morning’s training session of the Black Stars as earlier confirmed.

“There were changes in his (Baffour) flight schedule and is now expected to leave Turkey this (Wednesday) morning,” Deputy CEO of New Edubiase Alex Ackummey told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“We have notified the Ghana FA and the coach of the development but we will be expecting him by Wednesday evening so he joins the training on Thursday.”

The former Tema Youth player is the only member of the locally based stars not to have reported for training since it commenced on Monday.

The Black Stars team will nevertheless continue with its non-residential preparations until Sunday when the pruned team travels to Kumasi ahead of the opeining 2014 World Cup qualifier against Lesotho on June 1.
