Hi AFers, there are many trending discussions on the internet about football; we'd like to bring it here. We will pick some interesting topics on Reddit and let you guys leave your comments about them.

An unfair advantage in the Euro?

Am I the only that finds it weird that some countries are just playing at home? Like Italy, Russia and now The Netherlands, they’re just playing at home with fans. Don’t you guys think this is an unfair advantage?

lukaaTB: I don't understand why this would be more of an unfair advantage compared to if every game was played in any one nation though? Flight times across Europe aren't long enough to cause something more than a slight inconvenience. Or am I overlooking something?

KeatonWasBetter: As an English man, I see no problem with it and personally cannot wait for us to crash out early doors and not take full advantage of the final being at Wembley.

HakunaMatata69: More than home advantage travel advantage is even bigger. England and Italy play at home but Switzerland travels 7000km for the group stages.

don_biglia: This has nothing to do with Covid. This was known well in advance of the tournament and way before Covid-19 existed.
