Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah says his charges are ready to held their verve against Uganda, revealing football is not women.
The Ghanaians will face a resolute and physically strong Uganda side in the first group game of the qualifiers for the 2015 African Cup of Nations at home on Saturday.
The East African country will test the mettle of the highly-rated Black Stars at the Baba Yara stadium hoping to cause an upset.
History do not favour the Cranes as the Black Stars have won the last 6 games in the 10 matches but that could prove tricky against a determined Ugandan side.
Coach Appiah is awar of the tricky nature of the tie but says his charges are primed for massive win since football is not meant for the faint-hearted.
“Football is not for women anyway so once you go out there you know it’s going to be a battle,†he said
“I am sure my players will go out there to match them boot for boot.â€
The Black Stars are anxious for a resounding win to win the fans over before they travel to Togo to face the Hawks on Wednesday.
