Former Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom is determined to return to the top level.

The 31-year-old, who is on the books of Georgian side FC Samtredia, has seen his career take a nosedive since he was banned by FIFA.

The former FC Basel and Boavista right-back has struggled to get to his best over the past seven years.

But he is determined to get to his best after being revived at the Georgian side.

“I will say everything it depends on me,” he told Joy Sports.

“How I think, how I do certain things, If I am taking good care of myself, if I am training hard, If I stay focused I don’t think that I cannot get to the top again.”

Regarded as the journeyman, Inkoom has featured for 12 different clubs across several continents.

The former FIFA Under-20 World Cup winner has scored a goal in 46 caps.
