Former Asante Kotoko and Karela United striker William Opoku Mensah joins Mukura Victory Sport in Rwanda

Rwandan Premier League side Mukura Victory Sport have completed the signing of Ghanaian forward William Opoku Mensah, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

Mensah passed his medicals in the Southern Province capital on Tuesday evening before signing a two-year contract with the Huye based club.

The former Karela United FC striker is joining Mukura on the recommendation of newly appointed coach Rodolfo Zapata.

The 25-year-old registered for Liberty Professionals in the second round of the Ghana Premier League where he scored in his only appearance before heading to Rwanda.

Mensah left Asante Kotoko SC in January 2021 after his contract expired.

He also previously played for American club Swope Park Rangers in the USL Championship from March 2019 to December 2019.
