Ghanaian striker William Opoku Mensah is close to securing a move to Zambian top-flight side Nkana FC.

The former Kotoko player has been in Rwanda for four months playing for Mukura Victory Sport.

And his impressive performances there has caught the attention of Nkana, who are ready to part ways with big money to land his signature.

Opoku has been involved in eight goals, scoring five and assisting three for the Rwandan club in nine games.

He has also won nine man of the match awards.

The 25-year-old left Asante Kotoko SC in January 2021 following the expiration of his current.

The Ghanaian giants were not impressed by him and did not extend his contract.

Before joining Kotoko in early 2020, he played in United States of America for Swope Park Rangers.
