Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah can only succeed with the support of Ghanaians and the confidence they will repose in him according to former AshGold trainer Bashiru Hayford.
The former Asante Kotoko and Medeama trainer believes the support from Ghanaians is key in aiding Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah to succeed.
To him, allowing Kwasi Appiah to invite players he thinks can help his rebuilding course to reconstruct a new Black Stars is enough support for the coach to succeed.
Hayford, who was the the head coach of the U20 female national team - The Black Princesses, in 2014 argues that the coach must be allowed to take his own decisions so that he can be held responsible for whatever result that comes.
"I humbly suggest that we should leave Kwasi Appiah alone to make his own decisions so that he can be judged based on his results.
"He has called guys who he thinks are the ones who can give him results and also has the opportunity to assess the other players," he told Abusua FM in Kumasi.
"You can share your opinions but it does not mean you are right because this are purely technical issues.
"We have to criticize constructively not destructively," he added.
Coach Bashiru Hayford who won the Ghana Premier League with Asante Kotoko, recently resigned as the head coach of AshGold on the back of poor results after guiding them to their first league title in 2014 after a-19 year chase.
