EXCLUSIVE: Former Chelsea defender Emmanuel Ofori joins Lebanese side Tripoli SC on loan

Lebanese side Tripoli SC added another Ghanaian to their ranks with the signing of former Berekum Chelsea defender Emmanuel Ofori on a season-long loan, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal. 

The 20-year-old defender has been touted as the next John Mensah with several clubs in Ghana showing interest in his services.

Ofori who has had loan stints with Amidaus Professionals signed the dotted lines with the Lebanese side at the weekend.

He is looking forward to a new challenge in the Middle East.

“Even at my young age I have played for some of the big clubs in Ghana,” Ofori told GHANAoccernet.com

“My brother Michael who got here earlier has told me it’s a good place and I am looking forward to working hard and continue my development here.”
