Former Ebusua Dwarfs defender Christopher Bonney on Sharks, Karela radar

Ghana Premier League debutants Karela United and Elmina Sharks are interested in acquiring the services of defender Christopher Bonney.

The former Asante Kotoko guardsman terminated his contract with Cape-Coast based outfit Ebusua Dwarfs over monetary issues in the wake of last season after helping the club finish 4th on the league standings.

According to reports in the media, Karela United who promotion from division one zone 2 last season as well as 9th placed side in the Ghana Premier League, Elmina Sharks have acquired about the availability of the full back ahead of the upcoming season.

 

“Even before Bonney canceled his contract, Sharks and Karela had expressed interest in him. They are bent on getting him to beef up their squad for the coming season,” the source who pleaded anonymity told footballmadeinghana.com

“Inter Allies are also interested, the officials like him but they are going to propose him to Kenichi and if he agrees, they will move for him.”
