Former Fiorentina and Milan boss Fatih Terim has left hospital and will continue his recovery from coronavirus back home.

Fatih was admitted to hospital in his native Turkey last week and had spent the following seven days under medical supervision.

This afternoon, the Galatasaray coach announced in an Instagram post that he had been discharged and was returning home for the next stage of his recovery.

However, he will remain in isolation as he has not yet fully recovered from COVID-19.

The 66-year-old coached Fiorentina and Milan between 2000 and 2002 and is in possession of an Italian knighthood.
