Former Ghana goalie Abubakar Damba set for coaching stint with Dreams FC

Ex-Ghana goalkeeper Abubakar Damba is expected to join Dream FC's coaching staff.

The former Hearts goalkeepers' trainer, will assist current coach CK Akunnor.

The Premier League debutant are keen to augment their technical bench ahead of the second half of the season.

“Dreams FC have approached me and I have met CK Akunnor and he wants to have me in his fold to assist him to move the team forward. "It was a quiet and fruitful talk, after meeting management they offered me a contract for that matter and I buy in their philosophy, but yet to seal a deal for now”, he told Starr Sports.

Dreams FC placed sixth in the first round of the domestic league and have promised to survive the season.

The second round of the Premier League kick starts on June 26.
