Three-time Ghana Premier League goal king Ishmael Addo is expected to sign for FA Cup winners New Edubiase United by the close of the week.

The 30-year has failed to revive his career after a returning home in 2009 after playing for Indian Premier League side East Bengal.

The former Hearts of Oak striker has rich experience playing in Europe for clubs in France, Israel, Greece and Cyprus.

Addo emerged top scorer at the 2009 FIFA Under-17 World Cup finals in New Zealand when Ghana finished third.

"My side would need experienced players like Addo next season in our quest to make an impact in the Ghana Premier League and Africa Cup campaign come next season," New Edubiase president Abdul Salam Yakubu told Asempa FM.

New Edubiase United will play in the qualifiers of the 2013 CAF Confederation Cup.
