Estonian top-flight side Paide Linnameeskond have signed Ghanaian defender Issahaku Konda, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The 21-year-old central defender is joining Paide from Ghanaian second-tier side Asokwa Deportivo FC.

Konda was captain of the Ghana U20 team at the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations in Niger.

He joined FC Juniors OÖ in the Austrian second-tier league on loan from Deportivo from January 2019 to January 2020.

"I am happy to be able to join one of the best clubs in Estonia and of course I want to fight for Paide for the title this year," Konda said after completing the deal.

"I try to bring leadership qualities to the team, help build a powerful line of defense and develop further as a player to be one of the best defenders in Premium League."

Konda becomes the 3rd Ghanaian player to join the Estonian giants after Abdul Razak Yussif and Deabeas Owusu-Sekyere.
