Ghana international defender Kassenu Ghandy is in flying mood after playing against European champions Bayern Munich in an international club friendly on Friday.

The 24-year-old full-back was a first-half starter for Sudanese side Al-Merrikh in Doha when they suffered a 2-0 loss to the Uefa Champions League title-holders.

Ghandy, who was a member of the history-making 2009 Ghana U20 side feels playing against Ballon D'or contender Franck Ribery, Mario GOtze, Philip Lahm and Tony Kroos provides extra motivation to his career.

"Playing against players of these caliber bring something extra. They motivate you and help you to dream big in your career. I feel glad, I played against them," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Ghandy joined the Sudanese champions from Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals in June 2013.

He has had spells with Swedish sides BK Hacken and Degerfors IF as well as Moldovan club Sheriff Tiraspol.
