Former Ghana youth star Ishaku Konda sees red in Paide Linnameeskond home defeat

Ghanaian defender Ishaku Konda was sent off in Paide Linnameeskond home defeat to Viljandi JK Tulevik in the Estonian Meistriliiga on Wednesday.

Paide suffered a 1-0 loss at the Paide linnastaadion which put a dent on their league title chase.

The former Ghana U20 captain was given the marching orders as early as the 4th minute in the game for a very terrible tackle on an opponent.

The visitors scored at the death of the encounter through Kaimar Saag put claim all three points from Paide.

Konda came into Wednesday's game having won a match of the match award in the previous game last weekend.

The defeat leaves Paide in the 2nd place on the league standings with four points behind leaders FCI Levadia.

Konda has been a key member of the Paide team since his arrival in March 2021 from Ghanaian side Asokwa Deportivo.

He has made 10 appearances in the Estonian top division.
