Former Granada president Paco Sanz has received the all-clear from the Coronavirus from the Vithas Nisa Pardo de Aravaca Hospital in Madrid.

Paco's father, former Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz, died last week of COVID-19.

"Not everything is bad news these days," Paco's brother Lorenzo tweeted.

"They've given the all-clear to my brother Paco after a week in hospital.

"Thanks a lot for your messages."

Paco Sanz had been hospitalised for the past week after displaying a fever and other Coronavirus symptoms.

He tested positive for COVID-19 and was also diagnosed with grade one pneumonia upon arriving at hospital.

However, after receiving treatment, Sanz has fully recovered from the virus and is back home with his family after being discharged from hospital.
