Former Guinea midfielder Kevin Constant retires from football

Former Guinea midfielder Kevin Constant has announced he is hanging his boots to end his football career.

The 32-year-old central midfielder took to his Instagram page to announce his retirement from the sport on Monday.

" It was the most difficult decision of my life. It is with great sadness that I say goodbye to football. It is time for me to dedicate my time to my children, my family and my future projects ... "

Constant played for nine clubs across five countries in Europe and in the Asia.

The ex-France youth star represented AC Milan, Genoa, Chievo Verona and Bologna in Italy.

Constant played for French sides Toulouse and Chateauroux.

He also featured for Turkish side Trabzonspor, FC Sion in Switzerland before heading to Iran to continue at Tractor SC.

Constant made 24 appearances for the Syli Nationale and scored 4 goals before hanging his boots.
