Former Hearts of Oak coach Kim Grant has officially joined Czech lower-tier side Prague Raptors FC.

Grant had been without a club since leaving Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak in December last year.

The soft-spoken gaffer has been announced as a coaching staff at Czech amateur side Prague Raptors FC.

The club's official statement reads "We are very excited to announce ex-Charlton, Luton & Millwall striker, Kim Grant, has joined the Prague Raptors Men's coaching team."

"Kim has had a long and illustrious career playing football in England, Belgium, Portugal & Singapore as well as earning 7 caps for Ghana.

"Kim has gone on to gain great experience via several coaching positions, most recently at Ghanaian top-flight side Accra Hearts Of Oak S.C."

Prague Raptors is a unique amateur Football Club in Czech Republic, making the world a better place whilst playing attractive high-intensity football.

President of Prague Raptors FC, Daz Moss expressed his delight with the arrival of the former Elmina Sharks technical director.

"'Kim & I started speaking a couple of years ago when we first started the Raptors project - of course he had other commitments then but as soon as he came back to Prague he was interested to get involved," Daz Moss told the club's official website.

"We are really excited to have someone with Kim's experience join our coaching team and believe he will be a big help to Jon, Kyle & the players whilst he is here''
