Former Hearts of Oak trainer Frank Elliott Nuttall has been appointed the new coach of Botswana top-flight side Township Rollers FC, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The Scotsman signed an initial six-month deal with the Botswana champions with an option to extend at the end of the current season.

Nuttall is replacing Tomas Trucha who was fired a fortnight ago after some strings of poor results in the league.

The 50-year-old Hamilton born tactician handled Hearts of Oak in the 2017/2018 season where they finished 3rd on the league table and also guided them to the finals of the Ghana FA Cup.

Nuttall also won the Kenya Premier League with Gor Mahia FC in the 2014/2015 campaign ending the season unbeaten.

In 2016, he was appointed assistant coach of Egyptian giants Zamalek SC.
