Former Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has been linked with a return to the club from Bayern Munich.

The 28-year-old Chile international left the Bianconeri for the Bundesliga champions last summer in a deal worth in the region of €40 million to the Turin giants.

According to Chilean newspaper El Mercurio, the former Bayer Leverkusen player has incurred the wrath of the Bavarian club’s hierarchy with his off-field antics and the club are preparing to offload the box-to-box man after just one season back in Germany.

Vidal helped the Old Lady to four consecutive league titles and is a popular figure amongst the club’s large fanbase across the world after scoring 35 goals during his 124 appearances at the club.

Massimiliano Allegri would most likely welcome back a player which helped the club to reach the Champions League Final in Berlin last season.
