Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Mohammed Muntari Tagoe has been linked with clubs in the South African Premier Soccer League.

The ex-Medeama SC goalie, who is two times FA Cup champion in Ghana is set to make a move to the PSL despite a failed move to Bloemfontein Celtic previously.

Tagoe is expected to join Ghana's number one goalie Richard Ofori in the ABSA Premier League in the coming days.

“Mohammed Muntari is a good goalkeeper and we are looking for opportunities for him in South Africa,” said Ahmed Nuno, an agent based in South Africa told Soccer Laduma.

"I took him to (Bloemfontein) Celtic before, but we couldn’t agree with the club on everything, so I took him back to Ghana to Asante Kotoko (at the time).

Muntari Tagoe has been playing with Ethiopian side Jimma Aba Jiffar after leaving Asante Kotoko last October.
